Feh. My code's close to being cracked by none other than the mighty (time-wasting) Dodo Fishball.
That code would take ages to crack by a normal person like me. My sister just says that Dodo wouldn't be top student if he couldn't crack it...or he's just got too much time on his hands. I'm thinking both. -.-
I don't really believe in horoscopes, but I must say that today must be somewhat my lucky day. "Lady Luck is smiling down on you." Hmmm...
When I go to Daiso, I will always look out for this one particular sweet - what my sibs and I call Melt In The Mouths. I went to IMM today, with my little brother, and the second thing we did (after getting AAA batteries for my MP3 which died on me -.- But they're cheaper there. GP batteries, set of eight, for only 4 bucks.) was to rush to the sweets section to look for that elusive sweet. Usually, that particular sweet is sold out cos I think it's mighty popular. We scanned the shelves - nothing. So, disappointed, we left.
Suddenly, something bright caught my eye at the lowest shelf. Lo and behold - it's the sweet! And the only one! God, did I practically scream when I saw it. Melt In The Mouths...yum.
After that we headed to Giant. There was a sale on denim jackets there - $7.90 for one - and the design was really nice. My mom decided to buy it for me, so that's three jackets I have now.
Blooper made by the cashier: she scanned the barcode on the jacket and stuffed it in the bag. I noticed that the price shown on the screen was...$1738 instead of $7.90. The cashier had mistakenly multiplied the price of the jackets by 220. She only noticed the difference when she totaled up the sum of the items. Heheheh...must've been a shock to see a total of $1748.77 for only a couple of items. Man, did the couple behind me seem amazed. Hohoho...I sooo love all the weird experiences I get.

I wish I was like Yoko Nakajima. Whisked off unwittingly to an unknown world to rule a kingdom. OK, maybe not to rule a kingdom, but just to an unknown world where no one knows me. Where I don't need to go to school. Where I can live a carefree life, with the exception of monsters.
Twelve Kingdoms is on again. I prefer the Yoko that didn't question anymore, just to face the world and fight back. She was better then, not the weeping schoolgirl now. If I were her...I think I'd act like Sugimoto actually. Begging to be sent off to that world...awesome...and with a cute guide too... TwT
Brill, Dodo. You're 2 steps closer to figuring out the code. Wonder how you did it...I wouldn't bother to crack it myself.

168th post...
Finally found out who sang Girl From Katong. It's a local band called Serenaide.
Early in the morning I was woken up by my father who thought it was a sin to wake up late a week before school reopened. And he cheerfully added that his sock drawer needed cleaning out.
Sockies. Sockers. Sockims. Socks.
Always liked that word. A soft fuzzy feeling to it, associated with the fabric. I've got a few socks I love, most of them brightly-coloured. (I somewhat think I was a butterfly in my past life. -.-)
But I hate butterflies. And anything that is an insect or arachnid. The moths and butterflies and beetles are the worst, because they fly around in no apparent direction and I hate it if they flutter real close.
Anyway, bleary-eyed, I looked at the sock drawer. That drawer is stuffed to the brim with socks! To clean it out...let's say I'm lucky I'm supposed to share this responsibility with my little brother.
The good thing about waking up early is that I get to use the computer. My mom needed some stuff printed for the kindergarten so she needed me to help her. In which case, after she finishes with the computer, I get to use it. Heheheh.
You know, I kinda think that the way I blog is like a soliloquy. Dictionary.com defines it as "a (usually long) dramatic speech intended to give the illusion of unspoken reflections". I guess it's something like a train of thought, where you think this and suddenly think that and connect it to another thing...
Or I'm just rattling off like a demented...thing.

Gearing up for the grand 200.
Ailing from the Monday blues. On Friday I'm finally going to school!
Nothing much to post about. Just that I've run out of songs to listen to on my MP3 player and I need suggestions badly. Anything that sounds nice, mind.

and two FM radio recordings. (Girl From Katong and Where Are You)

the old tattered photo you kept in a little black box along with memories of last time we met 20 years ago, you said? I thought it was yesterday seems a waste our friendship took long years to make, to mend and only a while to destroy we part ways I'll go this way and bid you farewell we forget each other only memories to keep you close -------------------------------- We took 3 years to know each other, to trust each other well, to share fun times with, to create happy memories. And in a span of 3 months, lose each other. So what do we do to prevent this?

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO EVERYONE!
Sure, I don't celebrate the holiday, but why spoil the festive season?
I sorta got like a Christmas-cum-PSLE-cum-buyformyself thing. It's an MP3 player. Finally I have something to listen to while on the way to school. My mom timed it and it's like, 45 minutes. 3/4 of that time is sitting (or standing) on the freaking MRT.
It costs only $145 for 512 MB. It's got a funny name: Astone Rumba 2000. Rumba is a dance I think. Anyway, I've only got 25 songs in it taking up 117 MB of space. Most of the songs in there are Japanese except two: Super Happy Funtime Christmas by Don and Drew (they're awfully funny) and It's Only The Fairy Tale by Miyamura Yuuko. I'm looking for Uncle Mutton and Ramly Burger Rap, they're so nice!
The MP3 player has the usual functions an MP3 player should have. I think that this kind is better than the iPod cos it has FM and recording unlike the iPod. The iPod's just used to store the music.
And as Jane posted on her blog, I would really love it if Deen and her and me stayed best friends forever. Something like a test on our friendship has been set: the three of us are in different secondary schools, so it'll be harder to stay best friends. But we'll try, won't we?
RGS orientation starts on 30 Dec, and I have to wear casual on that day. If my mom can't accompany me to RGS, then I can go myself and back. It's really easy to remember.
1. Take train all the way to Orchard. When out of faregates, turn right and exit at Orchard Boulevard. 2. Head for the nearest bus stop and take bus 190. Get off at the I-don't-know-what-eth bus stop. (HELP!) 3. To go back, take either bus 132 or 105. If 132, ride all the way to Peirce Secondary (my sister's school) and get off. Take bus 980 or 167 and head home. 4. If 105, ride to Toa Payoh Central and take the train back home.
Phew! Got that over with.

164th post...
I just got back from RGS. With a load of clothes.
I'm in class 1/12 with Karen, Jing Xuan, Liz and Jaz. Liz and Jaz didn't come so their parents, I believe, took their place. In the classroom, on the tables were bags with the word "Raffles" on them. Inside were items such as a towel, socks, school tie, file...
After registering and answering a short survey on our musical capabilities (I consider myself musically-challenged), we were dismissed. I met my mom at the ampitheatre and went off to buy my uniform.
Culotte, pinafore, blouse, polo tee and running shorts. The pinafore is huge. Like, size 38 goes way down to my socks. So my mom bought 36 instead, which comes to a few cm below my knee. Still huge. So's the blouse.
On Tuesdays I get to wear the polo tee with the culottes. On semi-formals I have to wear the school uniform with the tie. The schoolbooks aren't bad...just that we skipped Geography 1 and 2 to 3 and 4. What happened to the basics? *something tells me to flunk* NO! DON'T FLUNK~!
well, when peeps go on, I'll have to ask them about their school. I'm on with Deen now, she thinks DHS is terrific.

163rd post...
I am posting from the computer in Jane's house. I figured, since I can't use the computer in my own home, why not my best friends'?
Mish, I'm sure you'll catch up with me in the number of posts seeing as I can't always go on the comp. 117 posts to 163 posts...small difference.
Tomorrow I can't wait to go to RGS. I wanna see my school for the next 4 years and how I'm gonna get used to it. I hope flamers in RGS won't harass Mish, in the first place, if they know what she looks like. Guess not.
Now I'm playing MS. Seeya!

162nd post...
>.< I can't use the comp anymore until school reopens! Hell no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just cos my dad got into a rant about his health, us money leechers and a failed holiday. MY COMP!!!!
I already asked Deen to help me train my MS Aquila chara. My kitty's gonna die on Jan 16 so I better train it quick if I want my money to be worth it.
---------
Yesterday my dad wanted to go Mersing (WTH is that?) and we had no choice but to follow or else he'll rant again. At Larkin Bus Terminal, we tried to find buses that went to Mersing, but most of them had left already early in the morning. So we went to Melaka instead.
3-hour long bus ride. >.< Could I stand it? Yep. I slept for half the time on that bus. The chairs were plush recliners (SO COOL.) and the bus had radio going on and air-con. Perfect conditions for snooze.
At Melaka we just stayed at Melaka Sentral, their solution to KL Sentral. It's an airconned bus terminal with shops and food. We ate at Ayamas (Yummy chicken) and A&W (Root beer floatys ^^). Each of my sibs and me were given RM10 so I spent it on magazines to read on the way home.
3-hour bus ride home, leaving Melaka at 7 pm. I slept for 40 mins this time, then stayed up the rest of the way. By 8 pm outside was dark, and the forests looked menacing. I hoped to see something but I didn't. Oh well. Maybe it was lucky I didn't see it anyway.
Reached Johor at 10 pm. By the time I got past the traffic jam and immigrations, it was already 12 mn when I reached home. At immigrations I saw a group get their hotdogs confiscated. It was in one huge plastic bag - they bought loads - and an officer threw it away in a bin marked with a Biohazard sign. That group was so daft: you can't bring loads of frozen meat products into Singapore. Like bird flu will come in through those hotdogs or something.
Okay, I won't waste all my precious 2 hours blogging. I still have to do other stuff. Blog ya later.
I'll beg my mom to let me use the comp laters, anyway.

161st post...
Just finished watching Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring. till 2.30 am, that thing lasted. but we watched from the second disk onwards from where the TV version left off.
Halfway through in the Mines of Moria, when the Balrog appeared, me and my siblings started comparing LOTR to MapleStory. Lothlorien is like Ellinia, even though it's home to elven archers because Lothlorien is actually a forest, but with beautiful structures built in it. The Mines of Moria are like the Dungeons or the Sacred Sanctuary because it's dark and has the Balrog in it. Mount Doom - I guess it's the location of Zakum, all powerful and fiery.
The four hobbits are like beginners in MS. Gimli, Boromir and Aragorn are like warriors. Legolas is the archer, and Gandalf is the mage. What we're missing here is a thief. Gollum, maybe?
Denise is up as well, this late. I don't want to stay up so late because I want to wake up in time for GSD tomorrow. Darn.

160th post...
I hate the holidays. As I had quoted earlier on in the year on MSN, it seems that "as you grow older, holidays don't seem fun anymore". Yup.
Now my world is made up of bits and bytes, not bits and bites. I surf on the Information Superhighway, not the waves of the sea.
At least the good thing is, by the time I go back to school, I'll be seeing a lot more things everyday. More interaction with people, more experience with the outdoors.
Footnote: 8 bits make up 1 byte.

I stayed up from 12 to 5 am yesterday on the comp. Today I was woken up irritably by my father who was complaining that we slept too much. Well, excuse me. Your fault for not knowing that we stay up till morning to use the comp, my fault for staying up till morning to use the comp.
And he was like saying that he was going to Johor, and then he was packing his bags. My mom decided to follow him, because he had said earlier that all he was gonna do was explore Johor. Then, a while later, he said that he was going to KL. He was also asking if anyone wanted to accompany him to KL.
Nobody replied. Duh! Who in their right mind would want to set off for KL in just a 1/2 hour notice? Not me, definitely. So he got all huffy. In the end, he did go with my mom, but not to KL. Just Johor. Sheesh.

157th post...
Just an update on my MS adventures.
I finally leveled up to Level 24, just a step closer to using everything I wanted to. I also bought my equipment for level 25, combining a Blue Shark top (STR+3) and Sky Shark bottom (SPD+5). I bought a Two-Handed Axe as my main weapon, cos it has the most Weapon Attack and its speed is reasonable.
I completed Mrs. Ming Ming's First Worry, which I think is a total waste but still trained me, luckily. I'm now 60% closer to 25. So I guess I'll finally level up on Thursday. My pet also leveled up to Level 8, but it'll take ages before it can talk. Sigh.
Writing a story now. Maybe I'll post it up somewhere when I've finished.

156th post...
I fell sick with a fever recently. Yesterday my temperature was 38.5 degrees C, but today it fell drastically to 35.6 degrees C. That's 2.9 degrees down in a night. Amazing.
Haven't been blogging in a while. Busy with Maple, I've started playing it actively again. My swordman's now level 23. Just 1 1/2 more levels to go before I can use all those level 25 things I got from quests.
I also traded my 60% scroll for Helmet Defence for a Lollipop. The Weapon Attack for Lollipop isn't good, but I reckon with upgrades from scrolls, I guess I can improve it a little. But not enough for level 30 warrior.
And I finished the Camila's Gem quest, obtaining The Pig Sword. It looks cute, with a weapon attack of 42. I also finished Winston's quest and got the Leaf Earrings. And I finished Nella's quest up until the third request. They were pretty easy, I guess.
That's all I have to blog now.

155th post...
Whee! I went bowling yesterday and it was really fun!
There was a student offer at Orchid Country Club. $10 for five games plus free shoe rental. So my whole family went there to play. Since my eldest sis and me were beginners, we asked our brother to teach us how to play. We got the hang of it pretty soon (albeit some gutterballs), and surprisingly, I beat my brother at the first game with a score of 59. The guy who had a year's worth of bowling lessons couldn't even beat a bunch of first-timers.
I won two out of five games. My sister scored a total of 85 on a game before. It was so cool, so I decided maybe I should ask some of my friends along for some games. I'm considering asking Denise and Jane, but if anyone else wants to come, you can ask. But I'm only bringing four people along, max.

154th post...
Do not expect to see me on MSN Messenger or MapleStory for the next week. Because I did something wrong. Really, really wrong.
It was the spur of the moment thing! I thought it would make a really hilarious joke (well, it didn't) and I went and did it. I wanted to run away quick but a thief told me that she was afk and wouldn't know it anyway.
Boy was I wrong. Corn has ears and potatoes have eyes. I got busted, big time.
I expected a lovely phone call soon, and so I did. At first the voice was unrecognisable, I thought it was a female. Turns out it wasn't. Screaming and shrieking about how I was an idiot - that's true, I am an idiot and I am crazy - so I hung up.
Whoever wants to know more please email me. Ahahaha...
But please, I am sorry. You may kill me or spam me if you want, go ahead. I deserve it wholeheartedly.
But it makes a nice story, doesn't it?
---Edit---
To whom it may concern,
This is a letter of apology. I am apologising for that inconsiderate action I did. I admit, it was done on the spur of the moment, and was not thought through sufficiently. If I had known to the extent of how the emotional damage would spread, I would have done otherwise and considered a more milder message.
I hope you accept this apology. I am feeling guilty about this right now, to cause you such distress. As punishment of my heinous act, you may ask me to do one thing for you. Only one, and nothing impossible.
RSVP within 5 days.
Gomen-nasai, minna-san.

Hello! Me is back!
And I am awake at 2.48 am! Yes! That early!
Though surprisingly Denise is awake too. Watching anime and reading fanfics. The "lemony" kind, she says. Lemon?
It's raining outside now. A light drizzle. Causing me to develop a runny nose. The only thing that I now fear is being caught by my parents on the computer. But no worries...my sis is doing the same thing too.
The colour-coordinated taggie is back! Better than Floobly. Floobly was plain, but Tagboard is so cute! Feehehehehee.

152nd post...
My little brother came back from a competition yesterday and brought back a prize worth $500. It's a product called EyeRelax that can improve your eyesight, so they say.
With their eye chart in hand, I tested my eyes and found out I can't read the first line 2.5m away. And that font size is like, what? 36, 48 point? And so with that conclusion my eyesight is terrible, I decided to have a go at it.
And decided it was near-lunacy.
Still, I guess since it should work wonders on my eyes, best keep using it then.
The next day, what should pop up in the Today newspaper? An article about my bro winning the competition and his face in it. Wow. That's twice he's been featured on the media. Once on a show featuring his religious school, now the papers.
Yeah that's all I wanted to post about. cya.

151th post - palidromic.
Another playing day today. Was eager to finish reading a fanfic and continue playing The Sims 2.
Also another absolutely windy day today. I slept yesterday night with the window wide open so that the wind could blow in, thus rendering the need for a fan useless. Today I woke up freezing and sniffling. Shouldn't have done that I suppose - gotta wrap myself in the blanket first.
Anime last night was...frustrating. Especially Rumbling Hearts. Sure, somebody said that Mitsuki later would be, like, nicer...but now I just hate her and Narumi. Putting poor Haruka through all that pain and trouble. I sided with Akane that episode, treating Mitsuki coldly. If I were her or Haruka, I'd never speak to them ever again. So there. blasted sad plot.
Godannar is, as usual, hentai-like. Though there was a surprise at the end when they revealed Shadow as a girl instead of a boy. I saw the two skirts and was thinking, since when was Lou Roux with a girl? And there it was, Shadow's face. I wonder if Lou knew "he" was a girl. I guess not, because she was like, "Let me be your partner forever." and all the mushy stuff. Urgh...traces of yaoi. I hate yaoi pairings.
Tonight let's see how Haruka looks like after all those years. I wish she wasn't so soft. I hope that after all those years, she now hates the two lovebirds. Ack.
