You reached 351 points, so you achieved position 23935 of 298644 on the ranking list

You type 459 characters per minute
You have 84 correct words and
you have 1 wrong words

----------------------

Snagged this off Lishan's blog. Lol pretty neat thing. I screwed up on my first trial because after I made a mistake on one word my fingers were wrongly aligned so I continued typing the wrong letters over and over again. Thus my word per minute count?

1.

LOL! Now it's 84 words per minute. ONLY ONE WRONG WORD HOOHOO.

I wonder how fast the number 1 person typed. I'd love to see that.

You know, I didn't know what touch-typing was until now. Touch-typing is typing without relying on your eyes to see what the letters are. I saw that sort of program years ago on the Rosyth computers and was thinking, "What the hell is this funk?". Never bothered with it, ever. But now I realise I've been touch-typing for years since around P5-P6.

It's rather odd to remember that last time I used the "hunt and peck" method - using individual fingers to hunt down the keys and jab them. Now I don't even have to look at the keyboard to know where the letters are. Apparently it's some form of muscle memory. Like your muscles retain this innate knowledge of where the keys are, the distance between the other keys and the positions the fingers have to be in order to touch a key.

Cool.

I want 312's keyboard!

OMGWTF. Why am I still the freaking PTI? Last year I was already one of two PTIs along with Jaslyn, now I'm still one of two PTIs along with Celeste. The Celeste being well-known among the batch for her love of pushups and PT. I DIE.

Good point though, that I also maintain my own fitness and push myself to be a better role model for the Part Bs. Celeste is better in pushups and stationary exercises, while I'm slightly better in running.

But tomorrow neither Celeste nor me can make it for training, hurhur. I've got Perbayu Orientation to attend, super duper compulsory! We get excuse letters too! I skip PT for this week~

Yay. I wanna play GE nao~

--------------

SaiGAR has already ended its first round and will be progressing into its second round on the 31st, which on GMT or PST will not be tomorrow. For Group A Left it's between Dio Brando (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure), Hosaka (Minami-ke) and Robert Speedwagon (Jojo's). For Group A Right it's between Emperor of Britannia (Code Geass), Itou Kaiji (Kaiji) and Itoshiki Nozomu (Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei).

akinarei or Kyia Star on FF.net has finally updated her brilliant Lin x Mai fic Shades of Lust! Chapter 10 is the last full-length chapter before the epilogue. D: I haven't read Chapter 10 but I'm trying not to do it in the presence of others. I might scare them by fangirling too much. Just in case you don't know, it is M and it is citrusy. Hahahahaha~

Surprise, surprise! I'm currently in class now, and it's supposed to be Biology but Mr Evans isn't here. All of us are pretty much slacking about. Research Studies block is next, we're supposed to find our own groups and get cracking on a proposal, just in case we don't get accepted in other special programmes.

Man, I just realised how much I like this keyboard. It types so effortlessly! Maybe it's due to the "wear and tear" thing. But it's so bloody smooth I love this keyboard yes I love it love it love it love it indeed. WHEE I LOVE TYPING ON THIS KEYBOARD. I don't really have to press on it hard to get the letters out, my fingers just glide smoothly over the surface and out! the letters come.

I feel kinda out of place. It seems that I'm neither here nor there, or rather anywhere. I'm neither left nor right, neither up nor down, neither front nor back. Where there are people in varying spectrums all over the lines and planes, I seem to be somewhere but not really in the middle either! It's like I'm at the sidelines watching. Where they are 2D and 3D I'm somewhere in the fourth and fifth and watching them.

And when I'm watching no one really bothers I'm there.

-------------------

I'm supposed to be finishing my Maths assignment now, due today apparently. I only have a few questions left to finish. I suppose I can try and do it before the school day ends. Luckily I have nothing on after school on Tuesdays. I'm glad for some free time. All I want to do right now is just go home and use the computer. Train my GE characters.

Speaking of GE, I've started playing on-and-off again. Emilia and Alexei have leveled up with the help of Aelizaveta, training at Jezebel Glen. Emilia's up a level while Alexei's up two. I made sure to only use Aelizaveta so that she can get experience to catch up with Leonov and Valentin to level 48. The latters are around 95% now while Liza's at 80%. Emilia's almost level 35 or 36 now, I believe.

The bell has rung! RS has started. I think I shall have to go and meet Jazzo, Nana and Sarahlala now, if Chew Lin's got my SMS reply right. I'm not sure what her last SMS to me meant really, but she's doing Moot Parliament Programme for RS now. Somehow, I hope she DID get my SMS reply right.

OK, before someone catches me blogging, I'll have to stop now and leave this fantazztic keyboard behind. Oh, I shall miss you so! Maybe I should blog more here. UTILISE THE KEYBOARD!

"Fantazztic choice!"

SOY was a much larger-scale event than I thought it would be. Quite a number of people turned up unexpectedly halfway through, causing a good deal of people to sit on the lecture theatre steps. Including us lol. Saw quite a diverse range of cosplayers from different anime/games this time round. A refreshing change from the usual stock we saw at EOY like Bleach, Naruto, D.Gray-man and Trinity Blood. There still were such stock cosplayers, but on a lesser scale.

The skits this time were of a better quality, in my opinion.

D: I still can't watch the Blood-stained Labyrinth arc of Ghost Hunt without having to cover my eyes. Damn! I know what happens, duh, but it's still pretty frightening. Especially with Urado's appearances. >_>;;; And that dead body in the bath. Lin's being sulky in this arc though! I think I might want to rewatch it all over again, for the sake of rewatching. It's such an idiotic question my brother posed.

"If you've watched it before, why watch it again?"

Ahaha and I told him that arc was the scariest in the anime. Afterwards he saw me laughing and was like, "Eh, you said it was scary. Why are you laughing?". Ain't it lucky I wasn't screaming instead? Anyway, I was laughing because of the damn height disparity.

Most of the GH guys are actually very tall. Lin, at 192cm, had to stoop in the doorway to get through lol! Bou-san's second tallest (185cm), followed by Yasuhara (177cm) and lastly Naru (175cm). John is overall the shortest guy at 162cm, even if he's nineteen and older than both Yasuhara and Naru.

Speaking of which, I missed Lin, Bou-san and John's birthdays! I referenced Lin's birthday a while back and forgot about it though! I remembered Lin and Bou-san had birthdays in January but I completely forgot about John. John's was on January 5th, Lin's on January 11th and Bou-san on January 22nd.

Masako's birthday is the easiest to remember because she, like my annoying brother, has the same birthdate. July 24th. And she's the shortest. Ha!

Forgot to mention a funny incident in Social Studies today.

We had to take a piece of paper, write down our response to a question on it and then fold it into a paper plane. We then would have to throw it around the class and someone would pick it up to read your response.

So I folded my plane all nice and proper, and even wrote "Cz. Airways" on it with a little scribbly wing. Sarah Huan next to me was worrying that her plane would go backwards due to the aircon in our direction. I wasn't worrying too much about that though.

Should have.

I threw my plane and it promptly made a sharp turn back over my head. I picked it up and flung it again. It made a sharper turn and still went over my head. I picked it up and flung it harder. What did it do? Made a sharp turn and STILL went over my head.

The teacher was laughing at me by now. I just gave up.

After everyone got someone else's plane and settled down, she's like "When I see some of you throw your airplane ah, it's like watching a cartoon!" and then she passes my table and pats my head.

>_>;;;;

Idiot plane.

I even tried throwing it at the back of the class away from the aircon, and even outside the class where there's NO aircon. Guess what it did?

Made a sharp turn and aimed for my head.

SaiGAR Group G Round 1b results out today.

As expected, both Lelouch and Naru got through, but I doubt Naru will ever advance any further than Round 1 due to his crappy competitors. Still, at least he got quite a number of votes! Poor Keith, last in his round with only 81 votes. 2 of which were mine, hehehe. Some people on animesuki also voted for Keith over Lelouch, so I'm quite pleased that he's not all forgotten.

I doubt I'll be voting again though, even though I know Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Naru and Keith were from animes I actually watched by myself, so I take some pride in voting for the characters I know.

I feel like watching Ghost Hunt again. <3 Lin~! Ken Narita (Lin's seiyuu) has a great voice and is pretty good-looking. I can't resist pairing Lin with Mai (even with an eleven-year age gap, it's awfully cute) as well as Sakurazuka Seishirou for a good crack pairing. Both tall, dark and handsome + strong spiritual power = love!

Though I still can't imagine any sort of yaoi-ish things for Sei/Lin because the tall, dark and handsome factor suddenly kicks in. As in really tall (in excess of 185cm). And both are like the strong and silent type, so it's kinda hard to er, express their emotions. It was the same situation as trying to imagine Hagi and Lin together because of this BL drama I tried listening to that had both their seiyuus as a couple. THEY'RE ALL TALL. AND SILENT. STONES.

SOY tomorrow. If Jaz's GB farewell hasn't a confirmed time by 10pm tonight we'll go straight to SOY. It's at Ngee Ann Polytechnic somewhere in Dover, starting at 11am and it's free of charge! As usual it's the three of us, including Sarahlala, going for the cosplay events. I don't know if my sis is going, I thought she was after all, what with her VK group doing a Hare Hare Yukai dance.

Gave up on asking her though, I got a convoluted conversation back.

On a random note, I want bubble tea. And time to sleep. And to finish Brave New World dammit. And time to watch anime. Before that, I'd like the interest to watch anime. So far I still have to finish Blood+ (this was seriously long-running), Toward the Terra (almost finished!) and Soukyuu no Fafner. I'm still looking for nice anime in the categories that I usually watch.

Looking at MyAnimeList, most of the animes I like to watch fall under the Sci-fi and Supernatural categories. I think the only exception to the Sci-fi/Supernatural rule is Princess Tutu, totally off-category, falling into Shoujo/Romance. Gosh. It's actually better than those usual sparklytwirly Mahou Shoujo stuff.

Played Granado Espada just now, training Alexei the Wiz with Valentin and Leonov. Got him to about 50%, managed to train my Fortitudo and Kneeling Shot along the way and got his two escorts to about Lvl 47 80%. WOOT ALMOST 48 AND ANOTHER WEAPON TIER! But in using Valentin and Leonov to train Alexei I've increased their exp gap between them and Aelizaveta. So if I play GE again I'm using Aelizaveta to train Emilia and Grace to ensure she'll catch up to 80%. She dies too often.

I picked up three equips today: one clean Splint Mail, a pretty good Shoulder Cannon and a Movement Speed Redingote. Got the Splint Mail while wandering into El Tejado Verde. I can handle the Demonisches, Lightning Gavis, Spiders and Skeletons fine considering they're at most 12 levels higher than me. I saw a Doggy Panzer but didn't dare go closer. 13 levels higher and eight AR difference? I think that's rather suicidal.

On another random note, I just realised I could shorten my stocks' names down to normal sounding ones from their original names. Alexei = Alex, Valentin = Val, Leonov = Leon and Aelizaveta = Eliza. I used to pair Leon and Eliza up, and then I learned of Musk/Wiz. Especially in Striform and Clara Mago. Hurhurhur. I still like the Musk/Ele though.

Meh. Shall while away the night and try not to sleep early! Geez, I keep falling asleep by 12.30am everyday! Causing me to thus not finish my homework. DDD:

Hoo yay managed to vote for Naru and Keith twice in SaiGAR!

I know Keith probably won't stand a chance against wildly popular Lelouch, but Naru has a way better chance of coming out tops. Seriously. Against Sunao and Keita? Of which, as I said before, isn't really GAR, but more cute and...um, girly? Didn't watch Inukami! but he looked like a girl. >_>

Slowly starting to watch anime again though. I still do watch Azumanga on Arts Central, and I watched episode 3 of Fafner yesterday. Might do so again today if I finish my Bio diagrams alright.

Still on the lookout for more sci-fi/supernatural anime though.

-------

Yesterday's IMT was loads better than my past two years', and I attribute it to the fact that I was in Lane 1. For me to hold the damn rifle properly with my short arms I've got to really turn my body in a sort of L shape to the left, so half my legs were dangling off the platform. If I were in any of the middle lanes, I'd have absolutely no chance of shooting accurately due to my posture, unless the person in the next lane doesn't mind having boots in his or her face.

My zeroing was about 30cm, and I could see that the first shot hit the target and the subsequent three shots trailed closely downwards in a curved shape. All those supported firings I managed to hit more than once, but once you take the sandbag away I miss everything and all my shots fire far left.

I soon figured out why though. Because it's unsupported and I've totally got weak upper body strength, I use up quite a lot of my energy to hold the rifle steady. So I'm straining to close one eye and aim, but I can't so I end up seeing two aiming sights - one left eye and one right eye. I get so annoyed that whichever aiming sight the target appears in I just shoot. Unfortunately, it's always the left eye so all my shots fire left. So I need to train my upper body strength for live-range!

Celeste is brilliant at unsupported though, but oddly enough not in supported. We should combine! Amanda passed, I think, and Hui Yi got marksmanship. WTH. Now they know who to send for shooting competition! Make me suffer last year for nothing.

SOY on the 26th!

D: I want to live in Japan or something, solely for the anime goods there. Damn!

Was checking the Terra e... LJ community recently. Someone put up some screenshots of the expansion disk with "Type Blue The Origin", which essentially showed what happened during the Altamira incident and well, what happened after that with the Mu. I didn't think much of the extra characters that appeared in the screenshots except those quickly recognisable like Blue and Physis.

Then I realised that the three other characters with the psionic auras around them were actually Harley and two other elders when they were younger. Like seriously way younger. Harley appeared to be in his twenties, Ella appeared to be in her teens and Burau appeared to be only a child clinging to Harley. And here I was thinking they could have a chemistry. Oops. They're pretty chummy though.

Mu age differences and appearances are really weird.

(I don't really know the other two elders' proper names, I tried following their VAs' roles to check the voices, so I'm about 80% sure she's Altera. I'm not sure if the other elder's name is Ella, but I think it should be. =/ I'll change it should I come across their real names. ---EDIT: I did. I changed them already. xD Altera was the main girl from Tony's generation oops. See, I should've checked the main website and made my life a little easier!)

I also noticed that their aura colours are different. Soldier Blue's was obviously blue since he's a Type Blue, but Harley's was green and Ella's was red. So does that mean they're Type Green and Red respectively, with Blue being the highest and most powerful type? In episode 11 Zel and Ella had shields up around them from the rain, hers being red and Zel's yellow. So he's Type Yellow?

Maybe it follows the rainbow, omitting the last two colours.

Red - Orange - Yellow - Green - Blue

But then rewatching Episode 11 when they stepped out Harley's shield was blue. Either I can't rely on the colour of their auras, or his power evolved. If the colour thing is correct though, then Ella is at the bottom of the "scale" followed by Zel, Harley and then Blue. I'm not sure where Burau stands on the scale because I haven't seen her aura yet.

-------------

I spoilered myself. I saw Matsuka's death. When he saw Keith's unconscious figure on the ground he just went Mu-berserk and his psionic powers just burst out. Some people commented that the anime portrayed Matsuka far stronger than he should be for a Mu who doesn't actively use his powers.

However, Matsuka's berserker mode was very alike to how Karina exploded when she thought Tony was dead. Karina was definitely no Type Blue, but the way she just tore up the ship's interior with her powers you'd think she was one, or at least on a slightly lower scale. I suppose Matsuka's normal powers aren't very strong, but he cared for Keith that much to release all his energy like that. He went and sacrificed himself for Keith too, when Tony tried to finish him off. Bit gory though, how his right side just got torn away. Tony can be a git sometimes.

--------------

D'oh! At attempting to find out "Altera" and "Ella"'s confirmed names I basically spoiled myself up til episode 23. In French subtitles LOL. Well, at least it means I'll have more motivation to actually finish the series. I stopped at episode 20 or 21, I think. I feel like rewatching the episodes though, and then finish it all the way.

Other news - Chuangyi's releasing the Blood+ manga titles! OMGWTFBBQPAP. Blood+, Blood+ Adagio and Blood+ Yakou Joushi. I didn't really like the Adagio art style, I've already read Blood+ up til Volume 2 but what psyched me most was City of Nightwalkers! It's shounen-ai~

Hagi looks spectacularly bishie in this one. Nishi isn't so bad-looking himself, but eeeeee~ so sweet, especially that scene in Chapter Five or something when Nishi releases Hagi from his restraints. Hagi just fell into his arms and Nishi was carrying him.

Jaz was saying it wasn't BL until they kiss and do it. IT'S JUST SHOUNEN-AI. Anyway, does bloodsucking count? :B

I was checking back on SaiGAR08 and looking at the two competitors I recognise most in there - currently Keith Anyan and Mukuro Rokudo, since Hibari's round is already over and he's knocked out. Well, I was looking again at the competitors in Keith's round (who can forget Lelouch is one of them?) and then I realised I missed out on someone.

Oliver Davis, otherwise known as Shibuya Kazuya or better still Naru, of Ghost Hunt.

Gosh, how could I have missed spotting Naru! Probably because the series' colour was exactly the same as Bamboo Blade which was directly across the table. Naru must feel very insulted to have been forgotten. Sorry Naru! Kazuya's a nice name for you, by the way.

Looking at Naru's competitors, I'd say he has quite a good chance of winning if people know about him! I mean, Moriyama Sunao of Potemayo ain't exactly GAR, he's more of cute/aloof than anything. And looking at how they describe Kawahira Keita of Inukami! (a pervert, streaker, among other things) and the fact that he looks rather girly, I think Naru's the most GAR out of them all.

Go Naru! PK the heck out of them!

------------------------

Anyway, I'm staying up to do my homework right now, but as of now I've only finished half of my Geog. I don't know what to do about Bio though, it's goddamn annoying. I still have to iron my No. 3 uniform for tomorrow dammit. Argh idiot Mr Evans. He should give us some leeway to finish our Bio diagrams, seeing that we just came back from OBS. And that we can't bring homework to OBS. Not to mention we'd be pooped out to do anything at all at night!

Fork! I think I'll just scribble at least one diagram and observations just to show Mr Evans I did do something at least. Then I'll iron my uniform, try and get a crack on the Geog topo map, and then go to sleep. >: (

I AM BACK FROM OBS, PEOPLE!

I was panicking at first because I forgot my TOOTHBRUSH and my CAP. Worst of all my toothbrush because that meant I couldn't brush my teeth for four nights! Eee. I can feel all the plaque on my teeth now. Eeeyer.

Anyway, I was quite apprehensive at first about going to OBS because I heard about the sandflies and stuff, but it was actually quite okay. On the first day it's like "I WANNA GO HOME NOW! SINGAPORE'S JUST ACROSS THE WATER!" but on the last day it's "What? Home already?". So weird right? Humans are very weird creatures.

I think it'll be long-winded to go about every single detail everyday, but I'll try my best to put what I want in the post.

So we're in Camp 2, the lousier one apparently because everyone said Camp 1 was like a resort. But Camp 2 is more outward bound, so we have the better experience! Hahahaha~ OK, I was only trying to console myself. D:<

My watch's name is Nila Utama, and our buddy watch is Marco Polo. After five days of referring to each other as Nila Utama and Marco Polo, I find it really natural to just yell "Marco Polo! Your stuff are here!" or we'll all pay attention when someone calls for Nila Utama. I feel so tempted to call 312 Nila Utama and Marco Polo according to their groups. Our instructor's name is Cindy, and she's very nice.

We slept in tents on Day 1 and 3, and in the multi-purpose hall on Day 2 and 4 because it was raining heavily. Lilian was talking to the clouds last night, telling them to strike lightning and thunder so that the instructors could call Category 1 and make us all sleep in the MPH. It worked, although she was getting kinda obsessed.

On Day 1 we didn't do much, just icebreaker games and learning how to pitch a tent. I woke up like 3 times that night, but 3 times was relatively normal and it was damned cold even when I was wearing long sleeves. I was sleeping on my left side all night and it wasn't raining at all, but when I woke up my left sleeve was wet. Grr.

We were supposed to kayak to Camp 3 on Day 2, but it rained so heavily that you couldn't even see Singapore on the other side and the jetty was slightly blurred. It was so cool! Bei Qing stood near the edge of the boat shed just staring at the rain while the rest of us "huddled" together for heat. We got to stay in the MPH that night and bathe too. As usual, woke up 3 times throughout the night.

Day 3. I was in a tri-yak with Zi Qi and Lilian. We kayaked the next day through the mangrove swamps where we got lost loads of times, but we were in a boat so it was quite OK. Still annoying though, when you paddle into the narrowest of passages and then the guy at the front yells at you to turn back. Hello, we all don't like to crash into the mangrove like you do. At some points we accidentally crashed into the mangroves with low-lying branches and we all were forced to do the Kayak Limbo. CJ (Marco Polo's instructor) started playing around with us in the water by splashing at us with his paddle.

We practically screamed when we saw the sea after spending hours in the mangrove swamp! Zi Qi and Lilian were so patient with me when I got really cranky because I was tired. Instead of snapping back they told me to rest, but I didn't want to because I didn't want to lag behind! Zi Qi threatened to smack me on the head with her paddle.

At Camp 3 our campsite was luckily next to this drain with clean running water from the quarry beside us. There were some memorable moments there, like peeing in the "toilet" with Bei Qing, and it was pretty hilarious because only both of us knew between us what we did there lol!

And then there's Sarah's orange moment. She didn't want to carry her oranges anymore so she tossed it into the drain. Downstream there was another group's campsite and they were currently playing this game with their instructor, and not facing the drain. So the first orange just floated past them, but the next orange was seen by the instructor who had stepped backwards. He picked it up, yelling "Marco Polo! Nila Utama! Your orange is floating away!". We all just stared at Sarah.

The tent there was damn crowded because Miin joined our tent since hers didn't have enough rocks to hold it upright. Shona was supposed to join us, making it six (LIKE WHUT) but we sent her off. Oops. Sorry, Shona. It really was tight though. Miin and Sarah took up like so much space, and Lilian as well because they slept horizontally straight. Me and Bei Qing just took up the corners curled up. I woke up around 2+ to find that Bei Qing had also slept horizontally, leaving me the idiot curled up. Oddly enough, Lilian was sleeping lying down as well as cross-legged.

The back of our tent collapsed that night.

On Day 4 we had to trek from Camp 3 back to Camp 2, bypassing six checkpoints along the way while carrying our heavy haversacks. Our first checkpoint was beautiful, because it was at the highest point of Pulau Ubin overseeing the quarry. You could see both Singapore and Johor from up there, and Singapore was like this kuih lapis of tall HDB flats surrounded by trees. Lilian had some trouble up there, so we helped to offset her load once we got to the bottom again.

The creepiest checkpoints were probably the German Girl shrine and the tombs in the OBS compound. Eeeh. Dora randomly commented it was probably a dead body when we got to the latter, but she was really shocked to be right. The German Girl shrine clue was damn creepy. "German Girl in a Yellow Hut". Like WTH right? It's like those ghost stories you hear! I kept expecting a creepy girl like Sadako to materialise in the corner of my eye.

When we finally got to Camp 2 we were all like WHOO! We're back! We still had to clean our store before we could shower, though. We apparently had some night activity, but the rain Lilian was wishing for came down so we just slept in the MPH. Hahaha. We bathed that night. We might be luckier than the Camp 1 people this way. I slept with Lilian and Zi Qi by spreading two ponchos on the ground and then using mine as a blanket.

I had the best sleep in OBS that night, waking up only once during the night because it was getting cold. Zi Qi had stolen our blanket, and Lilian was rolled up in our poncho bed. So I simply turned over on my front and fell asleep, waking up later when another group was screaming "OMG WE'RE 20 MINUTES LATE!". I thought it was like 6+ or even 7, but the paranoid idiots woke up at 5.20am. We just pulled our blanket back from Zi Qi and fell asleep again until 6.15am.

That day we just took down our tents from the campsite and cleaned our store. After doing all that and making sure our store was in tiptop shape, we had to change into wet attire and go for jetty jumping. Our jetty jump must've been the best la. Other groups did theirs at HIGH TIDE, meaning that the gap from plank to water wasn't that high. We did ours at LOW TIDE, so obviously the height was taller right? Super! Quite scared at first, but I just stepped off the platform even before Cindy told me to count by myself.

Walao. Quite fun la. It felt like those rollercoaster drops where you feel like you're unsupported by anything (in this case, you really ARE unsupported) and you feel a swooping sensation in your stomach. Then you hit the saltwater before you rise upwards. Lucky us, we got to jump TWICE. The sensation of falling was extremely exciting. I had this strong urge to scream when I fell, but obviously I didn't because saltwater tastes so nice, I'm saving it for the others.

After that though, we had to shower and change back for Cindy to give our valuables and our certificates back, as well as some tokens. Then it was off to the souvenir shop, where I bought an L-size Cool-Max material shirt costing $18. I fit an M, but for my sis I bought an L for the both of us.

I fell asleep on the bumboat on the way back. Our boat was accompanied by CJ, and we thought the next boat had Cindy but apparently not. Oh well, we already said our goodbyes, at least. The end of our OBS journey and out to the real world again. I forgot what it felt like. I also forgot how to do surds. Wheepedeedoodah.

I think I missed A LOT OF THINGS in the five days I was gone. Oh no.

But I definitely bonded a lot with the people in my group, especially with Zi Qi, Lilian, Bei Qing and Sarah. I feel a lot more closer to them now.

OBS tomorrow and I'm half-packed.

I've decided to make that insect repellent recipe. Dettol and Baby Oil. : D Everyone says it works, seriously, and since they're from the Land of Oz they should know. What with all their midges and sandflies around there.

I've completed my Commonwealth Essay at 1485 words. The theme Blue. Yes, that question is bloody overused, but what the hey. It's my choice, I want my imagination! It's basically me ranting on about how Terra (a weak disguise of Earth) is dying and all the Terrans are freaking idiots who lost their conscience and wreaking the planet. And there's this young, white-haired, red-eyed guy who's watching them from waaay high above the planet (this might be harder to guess). And then he starts thinking about how he preferred their previous way of life, and about all the previous planets with similar intelligent life, and then...

The End. Won't tell you how I ended it off, but I think a lot will know.

So, OBS. Graarh. It's raining constantly, I think it's like the January monsoon season still. Tents flood! Gosh. Sigh. Gah, I have no idea what to say now.

Wish me luck, then?

D: OBS and Commonwealth Essay as well. Oh bother.

Not to mention during OBS we've got to do that idiotic Biology activity on top of that. Liek WTH? They said not to bring homework along!

Got to finish Commonwealth Essay by Saturday night at most. I started on Question 4 "This is where I live" and I got to about 819 words before I thought what I wrote was utter ranting crap. And so I've started again with Question 5 "Blue".

I didn't want to do "Blue" initially because, well, every time I saw the word I instantly thought of none other than Soldier Blue. Yes, really. Then I was like, "NO I CAN'T WRITE BLUE OR I'D JUST...FREAK" so I gave up on it.

Now the fact that I've resigned Question 4 to ranting crap, and I only consider Questions 4 and 5 to be bearably interesting, I'm forced to take up Question 5 now. Inspired somewhat by the anime and this one book I read before, but I can't remember what book that was. Oh yeah, now I remember. It was Robert A. Heinlein's Have Space Suit, Will Travel.

In the story, the Mother Thing takes Kip and Peewee to a trial for...well, I'm not too sure what, I'm assuming that Earth's been in quite some trouble for us humans being utterly idiotic with our handling of the planet. Or according to Wikipedia, humanity's being held on trial to see if we're a threat to the member races of some existing federation. Which we are, obviously.

So my idea for the theme "Blue" was Earth being judged by a humanoid official from a faraway galaxy, and he really admires how perfect and blue Earth appears so far from space. However, being an impartial official he cannot help but mark us down for our faults, and in the end the decision is given to eliminate Earth completely, which he does impassively.

Yeah, something like that. I hardly plan for things, which is the terrible downfall of my NaNoWriMo and Commonwealth things. Joy.

GOTTA PACK STUFF FOR OBS GOSH.

I suddenly remembered this one funny incident that happened in the train around the first day of school.

I was standing there, at the back near the doors that don't open. Beside me there's another secondary schoolgirl, and we're just stoning. A short distance away are two adults accompanying a young boy also going to school.

So we're all pretty much just stoning or in the group's case, talking to each other, and then this little roach crawls along the floor in the open. It's just crawling along mindlessly, and is heading in the direction of the group of three. The young boy's just watching the roach; so am I, and I feel the schoolgirl's eyes following the roach's path.

And we're just staring, staring, staring...until a man nearby shifts his foot while standing and unknowingly steps on the roach. We all stare at the man's oblivious shoe, and then we look up and look at each other, and then back down at the shoe. I cover my mouth to unsuccessfully hide my amused smile, and the boy just laughs. I think the schoolgirl's smiling, at least.

The next moment the man shifts his foot again, the roach is squashed on the floor. I sidestep it on the way out.

OK, so well the question of my GPA is still hanging in the balance. I asked Mdm Loy about it today, but she said the teacher-in-charge hasn't replied. What the hell. Joo Gian's asking me to hand in my report by Friday. I can't make that deadline if they don't tell me!

School's relatively OK so far. Mrs Leslie is very liberal. She'll really talk about anything under the sun if she wanted to. Today she was talking about language (it was English lesson) and she was telling us about an incident when she was still teaching in SJI.

She had never really used vulgarities freely before since duh, they're vulgarities and last time you'd get punished severely for using them. So in class, the boys apparently used those vulgarities as affectionate terms.

"Hey fucker, wanna go eat later?"

Yeah, she said that in class. Apparently in other classes she starts talking about her son's pet mice's testicles and the question of her son's sexuality. But it's very interesting, she's not afraid to show her feelings and express her thoughts. I think school will be fun with her as a form teacher.

I'm scared of Maths and Chem, though. The teachers are scary. SCARY. Social Studies is okay. At first glance I thought the teacher was a very uptight and strict person, from the way she walked. But she's in fact a good teacher. Since I love the current affairs sort of thing I think I'll like Social Studies fine.

In the card activity I got the six of diamonds. If you have a low card, people will do the "bad" sign to you and if you have a high card, they'll do the "good" sign to you, to signal to you what card you have. I didn't like the LOSER sign being made to me. I know it was about the activity, but it's not nice when someone does that to you anyway. It makes you feel rather small indeed.

I might enjoy OBS actually! One, for a personal reason. Two, Stacey tells me the sky over at Pulau Ubin will be so clear because there's no light pollution. I'll be able to see the stars and the planets properly for once!

The only time I ever saw the stars clearly was that one morning. I saw Venus, I saw a lot of stars, and there was a family standing on the pavement. The father was pointing out a group of stars to his kid, apparently the Big Dipper. So I've never seen it before, and I just turned my head since I had to look.

Sure enough, it was the Big Dipper. I want to see the stars!

Yay I finally found out where my favourite Granado Espada songs come from. The zone maps, I mean. Sadly, most of them are in high-leveled zones, but there are some surprises. I didn't find where Return to Afterglow was, though. I found out the locations from the doratomo GE website.

Notredame de Course - Joaquin Prison region
Rapal - Rio Aibi/Lago Celeste
Rapid Eye - Auch Republican Office
Rio Tranquila - Ice Tower region
The Last Number - Coimbra Mercenary Office (Pegadilla)
La Vistazo - Ustiur region
Toccata and Fugue in D minor - Dr. Torsche's Mansion

All high level places, and I'm only Level 47 for like...one year. >_> The surprising ones were those at the Offices. I never noticed they were there. Or they never were in sGE. Ah well.

-----------

School was pretty uneventful. I'm getting lonely in my class. ._. Nevermind.

Form teacher is Mrs Nelly Leslie, CLE teacher is a rather new teacher named Mr Chad Evans. They're teaching 312 English and Biology respectively. I think this year I might actually do better in Malay, since I've got Cikgu Roziah teaching me. Liyana's in a different class though, with Cikgu Melhan as the teacher.

I asked Mdm Loy about my Chinese results, apparently it's not supposed to be included in our overall GPA. But it is. I checked it twice, and I can't be wrong. Each subject is worth only one subject point for Sec 2, and you add up all the subject GPAs divided by the number of subject points to get your overall GPA. It clearly included Chinese, which I quit halfway last year. Aishu had the same problem as well, so our GPAs were dragged down.

I WANT MY 3.1 THANKS.

OK, so I was wondering how tall Seishirou really is after seeing some really conflicting numbers about his height. Some sources say he's 198 cm, and other sources say he's 185 cm.

I don't really see how you get a height difference of 13 cm. (Even worse, some sites had him at 195 cm in Tokyo Babylon and 185 in X/1999. Oh dear, he shrunk.)

When I saw the "198 cm" height, I was comparing him to Ghost Hunt's Lin, who's officially 194 cm according to the character info at the back of Volume 8 or something. And I went "WHAT? HOW CAN YOU BE FOUR CENTIMETRES TALLER THAN LIN?!". Which is really damned tall. 185 cm seems a more reasonable number to me.

Then the utterly-random Crack!Pairing monster struck me.

Seishirou/Lin would so totally rock for a number of reasons. Firstly, they're both onmyouji. Like Subaru, Lin practices onmyoujutsu for good. Secondly, they are both damned tall, dark and handsome men. What could be better than that? And lastly, their personalities seem to set them up for some very interesting situations.

Seishirou's calculative, emotionless and rather heartless. Lin's patient, quiet and usually hides his emotions, but when sufficiently provoked he will show his feelings. They're quite similar really, just that Sei-chan's on the "colder" side and Lin on the "warmer" side of well, that sort of personality. I suppose Lin is more sincere, which, when you look at Seishirou, really is at odds.

*adopts a Hokuto-like stance* Can you imagine them trying to get each other to profess their feelings for each other? (I'm saying this from a Crack! POV) They'll probably try their hardest to hide their feelings, but since the other guy is Seishirou, Lin's going to lose very quickly! Seishirou will stop at nothing, ahahahahaha!

Eh, but when you look at it that way, it's kinda weird if Lin's taller than Seishirou. =x Hmm.

OK, maybe just this once Sei-chan can be that tall.

--------

Oh yeah, and I don't think Sei-chan's a Sagittarius no matter what the Star Signs say. Some place Scorpio to end at Nov 22 and some at Nov 21, and Sei-chan's birthday is Nov 22. Comparing the two characteristics of Sagittarius and Scorpio characters, I think Sei-chan is a Scorpio!

It even says so in Tokyo Babylon, so there. He's best paired with Pisces (Subaru)!

And Lin's birthday is January 11 (oh, that's coming soon) so he's a Capricorn, and apparently Scorpio and Capricorn can still match favourably so...

OHOHOHOHOHOHO~

The Doctor was doing his rounds around the hospital. He was what they called an "asinct" doctor. Asinct meaning he was unaffiliated to anyone, a freelancer. He just worked at this hospital. Now the Doctor walked through the clean halls all the way to a certain dark computer lab, where two women stood in the doorway. The one leaning against the doorframe looked frazzled.

"What's the problem?"

"Problem? Well, I've to juggle three jobs and I've still to study for my doctor's research. How do you think I feel? This is a place for counselling, doctor, not a sick patient's ward." She was clearly distraught and rather frustrated, glaring at him.

The Doctor looked at her, then glanced into the dark lab that was lined with computers. It was completely empty. He walked away, continuing his rounds. Almost reaching the hospital lobby again, he walked through the quiet enclosed area, a "garden" of sorts. The two women were there.

The frazzled woman's notes slipped from her arms onto the floor. The Doctor stopped to help pick them up, and seeing her notes thought that he might slip her some of his own notes in his hand. He put them at the bottom of the note pile and handed them back to her.

The frazzled woman's acquaintance flipped through the notes, and noticed the Doctor's own notes in the pile. She picked them out and looked up at him disgustedly.

"The Charlatan Theory? You believe in this thing?"

The Doctor frowned. Yes, the Charlatan Theory was so aptly named because everyone thought it was some crackpot's idiocy. Not to him, though. He snatched his notes back. "If I'm to be a true doctor, I will accept this Charlatan Theory no matter what!" he thought furiously, striding away from the pair towards the lobby.

Upon reaching the lobby, he came across the frazzled woman's acquaintance. She quickly walked over to him, looking oddly guilty. Why, though? A gruff voice caused him to turn around. A man in uniform looked at him.

"Sir, you've been accused of being a fraud doctor. I'm afraid I'll have to take you away..."

The guilty-looking woman stared at her shoes. The Doctor frowned. It was her work, huh? He ignored the uniformed man's words. "I am not a fraud doctor, and I don't care what you say." The Doctor turned on his heels and strode out the lobby, intending to make a last round before leaving.

Pushing the clear doors open, he strode down the halls and turned the corner. To his surprise, near the staircase landing at the end of the corridor, was a large group of people, patients and visitors alike. He quickly walked over to the group.

In the middle of the group was a wheelchair-bound girl surrounded by her friends. The girl was crying hysterically, while her stricken friends gathered around her. One of them had her hands cupped together, enclosing something within her palms.

Suddenly, the words appeared at the sides of his vision. According to the paragraphs, the wheelchair-bound girl was named Horata and had quite a background. As a teenager she had aborted a baby before and had no recollection about it. Now her friends were trying to get her to recall the incident, and she had reacted violently.

The Doctor pushed through the crowd and approached the girl's friend with her hands cupped. "Show me what's caused her such distress."

The confused girl opened her palm, and in the middle of her right hand was a dark red blob. The Doctor supposed it reminded the wheelchair-bound girl of the aborted baby. He turned to look at the hysterical girl.

She was a frail-looking thing, with dirty blonde hair. Her limbs were thin, and tears streamed down her face. He had to get her to calm down, at least. Taking a bag from one in the crowd, he pulled bananas, fruits, and other sweets from the bag. He stuffed them into the tube in her head, and the hysterical girl slowly began to calm down. Her friends looked on in horror.

"How do you know she can even eat fruits? How do you know she has no allergies or problems to them?"

The Doctor continued, pointedly ignoring their questions. The girl eventually quietened. Suddenly, a bright light emanated from the girl, and it soon became a white brightness...

----------------

What you have read above is my dream for today. I woke up as soon as the dream ended, around 5.17am, which was way earlier than the 5.30am alarm I set.

The dream was actually mostly in 1st Person POV, but I changed it to 3rd Person POV to make it easier because at the hysterical girl part I wasn't the Doctor but a bystander. Also, there is no such word as "asinct" but it appeared in my dream. Appeared as in it really was written on my dream images. That goes for Horata's background as well, the two paragraphs were REALLY written on my dream images.

There is no such thing as the Charlatan Theory either.

I think this dream was definitely mainly influenced by X/1999. Firstly, the girl's name is Horata. Sounds very much like Sorata Arisugawa's name, right? And after the white brightness came images that flipped to form an animation. The images (including the subtitles!) resembled characters from X/1999.

The first few images were of...well, my mind registered the person as Subaru, but I believe he looked more like Kamui. And then the images started flipping, and then it changed to a close-up of Kamui/Subaru with Kotori at the side (the subtitles listed her as Monou Sayir. Damn funny right?). And then lastly it was a crayon-ized chibi animation of Kamui/Subaru whacking a taller person with a background of a dinosaur. The taller guy might've been either Fuuma or Seishirou.

I woke up not remembering the dream, really, but then I felt a sense of deja vu. As if I had dreamt that same dream before. WTH?

I woke up properly around 5.30 and went to bathe. : D

;__; I finally finished reading up til Volume 18.5 of X/1999.

It's sad that Subaru went over to the Dragons of Earth, but it's true he doesn't have anyone else to protect wholeheartedly anymore. However, I think he's going to be quite useful there. Everyone keeps saying that Kamui will never win against Fuuma unless he realizes that one wish he himself doesn't know about, so I think maybe Subaru's next role is to help Kamui realise that wish. He is a sort of insider, after all. He might pick up hints as to what Fuuma's wish and Kamui's real wish is, and give him a prod in the right direction.

Another one that shocked me was Arashi. After that whole "thing" going on with Sorata, she wasn't able to draw her sword anymore, and in Hinoto's dream it showed the next member of the Dragons of Heaven dying and a new Dragon of Earth taking Nataku's place. Which looked VERY MUCH like Arashi. Evil Hinoto had altered her memories and when she reawakens, she'll fight as a Dragon of Earth.

For now, my Seishirou x Subaru fandom will still live through whatever fanart/fanfiction I can get >: D

OHOHO 7 MINUTES MORE TO 2008!

Well, to the residents in the International Date Line West region, anyway. Happy New Year, guys!

---------------

Bought a nice new watch today. It's from CASIO and it's a lilac colour, I think. It's got a dual time function, so I was deciding what time zone to put. I found out that as of now, the IDLW region (UTC-12) is still in Dec 31st whereas Nuku'alofa and the Kiribati Islands (UTC+13, +14) are in Jan 2. WTH? Two days ahead?

I decided to put Nuku'alofa time temporarily as my second time, I might consider putting Tokyo time though. Ohoho, got to count down to New Year IDLW now!

Three minutes...

Two minutes...

One minute...

HAPPY NEW YEAR IDLW PEOPLE! WAHAHA YOU GUYS ARE THE LAST TO CROSS 2008!

Kiribati's cheating. >: You know, the whole "I-don't-wanna-be-last-I'm-gonna-be-first" thing. They're the first people to cross into the new millenium! Even though Hawaii's like less than 100km above them they're like 25 hours behind. Liek whut?

Although this means you can just take a boat from Hawaii to Kiribati, celebrate the new year, and then go back to Hawaii for some more champagne.

Speaking of time, do you know that Singapore and Malaysia are on permanent Daylight Saving Time? Even though we're in UTC+7, we're following UTC+8 because the other half of Malaysia is in UTC+8. And because we have close ties to Malaysia, adjusting our time to theirs makes it all the more easier, doesn't it? So we permanently save an hour for the world. GO US.

---------------

Jaz showed me this competition thing called SaiGar, where you vote for the manliest badass in anime. I see a few familiar faces, like Hibari Kyoya and Mukuro Rokudo from Reborn! and Keith Anyan from Toward the Terra. However, the three of them have some pretty serious competition.

Hibari's up against Suzaku from Code Geass, and Mukuro is against Kenpachi from Bleach. Hibari may be able to win against Suzaku, but I'm not sure about Mukuro and Kenpachi. Both of them are pretty badass-looking. And badass. Mukuro more on the personality part, though.

Poor Keith. As power-crazed and mental as he is, he stands absolutely no chance against Lelouch Lamperouge of Code Geass. Lulu can beat Keith and the other competitor flat. In power-craziness and mentalness. T__T Nevermind Keith, Matsuka will still love you. : D

Kidding.
